UPDATE 2/4/2010: The Bonfire and Parade have been cancelled for Friday due to lack of snow

6th Annual Moosestompers Ice Fishing Derby
Base Camp and Weigh-In located at Rairdon’s Bait Shop, New Limerick. Pre-Registration deadline is 8:00 pm Friday. Derby will be held on Saturday, February 6th and Sunday, February 7th, 2010. (All Fish MUST be caught in Drews, Nickerson, Cochrane, Bradbury Lakes, or Mill Pond). All weigh-ins are due by 6 p.m. on Sunday at Rairdon’s Bait Shop. *Free Hot Dogs & Soda on Nickerson & Drew’s Lakes* Cash Draw Grand Prize $500 (you don’t even have to fish, just stop in and buy a ticket). Raffle prizes are for a Jiffy Ice Auger and a Red Deer Hunt with bonus drawings for door prizes. Registration forms are also available at Mac’s Trading Post in Houlton, T & S Market in Hodgdon, Grand Lake Variety, or Cameron’s Market in New Limerick. 7:00 pm Moosestompin' Snowmobiles on Parade - CANCELLED
Decorate your sled, round up your buddies and meet everybody at Community Park at 7 pm for a ride through town and back to Community Park for the huge bonfire! This year's parade will hopefully include many of the old antique beauties we enjoy seeing. Participants receive an extra card towards the Poker Run on Saturday. ROUTE THIS YEAR — Start at Community Park, Randall St., Down Pleasant St., cut across by Rec. Center, Down Main Street, Down Broadway, up Military St., toward Park via Willard St. and end at Community Park.

8:00 pm Outside Skating – Houlton Community Park

***Mother Nature Permitting***Hot Chocolate  by the Houlton Fire Department Ladies Aux.

Join everyone after the parade for a huge bonfire provided by Houlton Fire Department and hot chocolate by the Ladies Aux.

ALL ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE AT COMMUNITY PARK IN HOULTON UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED (IE: SNOWMOBILE CLUB ACTIVITIES). MOST EVENTS ARE LOCATED BETWEEN MILLAR CIVIC CENTER, THE SLIDING HILL, AND THE BASEBALL FIELDS.
